Cervical Cancer & HPV VIRUS
Cervical cancer is a frightening specter for women. Why not 1 of 3 women with cancer (34.4%) cervical cancer. HPV virus strongly suspected as the main cause of cervical cancer. HPV virus is attacking the lining of the mouth and esophagus, cervix and anus.
High Risk of Cervical Cancer:
HPV Sexually Active Young Women attacked
Three out of four new cases of HPV infection attacking young women (aged 15-24 years). Virus HPV infection can occur within the first 2-3 years they are sexually active, is transmitted through physical touch, kissing or sexual intercourse.
At the age of adolescence (12-20 years) female reproductive organs are actively growing. Stimulation of the penis / semen can trigger changes in the nature of the cell becomes abnormal, especially if the injury occurred during sexual intercourse and HPV virus infection. These abnormal cells has high potential cause of cervical cancer.
Currently there are 100 known types of HPV virus in which most are harmless. Low-risk HPV can cause genital warts (genital wart disease) that can be cured by itself with immunity.
However, at high-risk HPV virus, the virus can alter the surface cells of the vagina. If not immediately detected, HPV Virus infection in the long term can cause the formation of pre cancerous cells cervix. All of this type is the Virus HPV types 16, 18, 31, 33 and 45.
HPV Vaccine - PRO AND CONTRA
Currently busy talking about the presence of HPV vaccine to prevent cervical cancer, such as Gardasil (Merck output) the U.S. FDA approved in June 2006 and Cervarix (GSK output).
HPV vaccine is not to treat cervical cancer. Some sources state that this vaccine is only effective for women who can not yet sexually active.
Whether young women should be given the HPV vaccine?
Joan Joan Lewis of The Population Research Institute (PRI), explained that until today (March 23, 2010), about 15.037 young girls have reported negative side effects of Gardasil to VAERS, including lupus, seizures, paralysis, blood clots, inflammation of the brain and others. CDC acknowledged receiving the report 44 cases of death.
In his websites, www.gardasil.com, explained that:
• After the injection of Gardasil the patient may be unconscious. To avoid, the patient should remain sitting / lying for 15 minutes after injection.
• People who are allergic to the ingredients Gardasil, including the very allergic to yeast (yeast) should not receive this vaccine.
• Gardasil is not for pregnant women
Discuss with your doctor, including allergy if any before HPV vaccination be done to prevent cervical cancer.
Prevent Cervical Cancer
Cervical cancer can be prevented by avoiding sexual activity at a young age and multiple sexual partners.
Keep your female organs hygiene and avoid sharing clothing / personal towels. Replace your pads as often as possible. Avoid public toilets are not hygienic.
You can perform EARLY DETECTION TEST Cervical cancer through Pap tests. Perform a minimum of 6 months or 1 year commencing from the age of 21 years or younger (if already sexually active).
